Don't hate me!

I know I JUST switched to Blogger, but I really can't deal with this not being able to reply to comments thing. I like being able to talk back and forth with people..so sadly this is not the site for me. Twilight, Twitter, istardom and other such nonsense.

So, I got mine and John's Twilight tickets tonight. I am SO excited for Thursday night, it's not even funny. I'll try to whip up something spiffy in the makeup department for the movie, but I dunno. I might just end up doing vampire bites on my neck again like Halloween. And, given the small town that we live in, it'll probably get me on the news for being a psychotic fan. You think I'm joking...

Also, I made a Twitter a couple months ago and just..forgot about it. So Cora mentioned looking at something on there, and I was like oh, wow, I should update that. So maybe my new obsession will be Twittering at all hours of the day. If you guys wanna follow me on there, my link is HERE. I'm really unhappy with my makeup setup and overall collection right now. I honestly have too much that isn't being used and I think it's ridiculous. So maybe I'll pull out all the stuff I'm not using at all and sell it or something, I dunno. If I do decide to, I'll post the sale here in case someone is interested, but it'll probably be me selling the whole lot of it instead of picking and choosing. Anyway, I hope you're all having a beautiful weekend, and I hope it's not pouring the rain nonstop like it is here!

OH! PS : Do you guys know how to reply to comments on here? I know that sounds REALLY stupid, but the only thing I can figure is if I leave a comment on it or something..but then you guys wouldn't see my reply. Until I figure that out, I just wanna thank everyone for the comments and following me!

Updates and such.

Hey guys. If you've seen my latest video, you probably came here to find out a little bit more about everything, so here goes.

I've been thinking about quitting youtube for a while now, and I think I'm not so much *quitting* as I am moving to blogger. It's a not very easy to apply your makeup while worrying if the camera is getting everything, trying to finish in under ten minutes and talk the whole time. Plus, at least for me personally, my makeup turns out better when I do both eyes at the same time. Not to mention the fact that I don't record every single time I wear makeup, and this way I can just snap a few pictures if I like the result and tell you guys what it is.

So, in addition to my switch to blogger I'm going to be talking about more than just makeup related stuff. I was going to start making a few more random videos, especially about books that I'm reading, so now you'll be able to find all of that here. I'll also do some mini hauls or product reviews if the mood strikes me. So all in all, I think it's a good time to make the switch from youtube to blogger. That said, I'll probably still make the occasional video for certain things. It mostly just depends on how much time I have, really. Typing up a short blog and posting some pictures is much less time consuming than filming a video, taking pictures, editing the video, uploading the video and then typing up everything.

I really wanna thank all of you guys that follow me here. I can't believe I ever made it to over 1,000 subscribers on youtube and it really means alot to me. You guys are the best, seriously.

So, both of these looks were so easy it hurts. I really am sorry I didn't have them out sooner, but my WMM decided to hate me and not work at ALL yesterday. Better late than never, right? Anyway, on to the fun stuff.

For Johns easy zombie look I used all matte stuff. Light face powder, dark brown, burgandy, bright blue and green eyeshadows everywhere. Mixing them all together was the key to getting that lovely undead look that everyone adores. Har har.

For my vampire victim look I used HiP paint in Commanding, MACs Malt, Knight Divine and Shroom eyeshadows for my eyes, some Wet n Wild liquid liner and Lash Blast. I also applied some crazy falsies that I found at Wal-Mart (they were too long and had to be trimmed, I used the little snips that would have gone in the trash otherwise). On my lips is Viva Glam I.

All of our wounds are HiP paint in Commanding topped with a burgandy eyeshadow and fake blood.
